Product family FSB 1289: timeless and elegant

Door handle product family FSB 1289: timeless design and at the same time expressive in a particularly elegant manner.
In fact, we are very proud to have designed this product family together with Markus Michalski/FSB. In addition to the elegant design of the door handle series, the unique consistency and formal relationship to other product groups (pull door handles and sliding door handles) should be emphasized.

For above-average design quality, the smart industrial gas meter product line from Tancy/Goldcard has received a “Focus Silver”. The measurement technology is based on ultrasonic sensors. Particularly noteworthy is the high user-friendliness of the devices through IoT.

The innovative sliding door handles from FSB have received two awards. In both cases, the jury was impressed by the high quality of the design, the possibilities of customization and the innovative, ergonomic operation of the shell handles.

Awarded: Arrow for Olymp

How do you design a modern classic with special seating comfort to replace one of Olymp’s most successful hairdresser’s model? The result, Arrow with a name and designed by Michael Schmidt and C2D, is then also immediately awarded with the Iconic Award 2021.

High-Speed Design Development

Series development of an automatic disinfection dispenser for Starmix within five months. Thanks to our many years of experience and a motivated team, we were able to accelerate our design process to the maximum, towards a high-speed product development. We are convinced that the high design quality and better user experience will lead to a broader acceptance of the necessary hygiene measures.

Innovation: SLIDING DOOR SHELL for FSB

The new sliding door shells for FSB are the result of an intensive research and design thinking process. Besides improved ergonomics – with handles that tilt out of the door leaf – FSB offers the shells in a variety of colour and material combinations. This gives architects and their customers the opportunity to create a visually minimalist, tone-in-tone design or to highlight the sliding door shell and thus make it a decorative element of the door.

Security at a click

Michael Schmidt has rethought the locking of a door and integrated it directly into the door handle rose. In this design study for FSB, the door handle is locked when the push-button is pressed once and released again when it is pressed again. In keeping with the spirit of universal design, the lockable lever handle can be conveniently operated with one hand.

Freedom of movement

The elegant wall luminaire PALITO WALL from the SATTLER PALITO series impresses with its flexible adjustability. The double twistability – 330° tiltable and additionally rotatable against the wall – results in a variety of lighting effects and can be adapted ad hoc to new situations. The wall luminaire can be combined excellently with other luminaires from the PALITO series to create a uniform design.
