Innovation and design management at FSB

From January 2019, FSB and Michael Schmidt plan a long-term cooperation in the area of innovation and design management. For more than 135 years, the FSB brand has been synonymous throughout the world for aesthetically and functionally high-quality fitting solutions for doors and windows, electronic access control and barrier-free sanitary equipment. The goal of the cooperation is to defend FSB’s leading position and expand internationally, as well as to strengthen its innovation and design management.

IMM shows bbqube_X – architecture meets kitchen. For outdoors.

The latest generation of outdoor kitchens for OCQ sets new standards not only by their puristic look: the modular bbqubeX offers architects and garden planners multiple options in terms of decor, features and layout. The scope of design is manifold – since the individual modules are perfectly matched to one another and can thus be combined individually. Michael Schmidt and his team create great values for true outdoor suitability through the use of 6mm ceramic plates and an innovative multi-layer construction.

FUTURE LAB 2035: WORKPLACE OF THE FUTURE

Bross presents Yuumi at Salone del Mobile 2018

Jury Statement: Its filigree appearance isn´t the only surprising feature of this luminaire: thanks to its asymmetrical suspension, it performs a permanent and adjustable balancing act. As a result, several luminaires can be positioned toproduce the same kind of playful effect as a mobile.

Well-balanced asymmetry playing with gravity

The Palito pendant luminaire from Sattler seems to defy the laws of gravity: The asymmetrical balanced pendant luminaire floats horizontally in space. An integrated and precisely adjustable balance weight puts it into the desired position.

Intersecting filigree lines in three-dimensional space – combined with a play of direct and indirect light – makes Palito Mikado an extra ordinary lighting object. The new designs for Sattler based on an aluminum tube of 22 mm diameter.

Sattler´s Fino – elegant diversity in 22mm

Slim elegance, fine finish and carefully designed details characterize the design of the FINO light series for Sattler.

The Fino Series includes floor lamp, pendant luminaire and spot light. The fine aluminium tube, 22 mm in diameter only, features a brushed surface finish, anodised in the colours bronze, black or champagne gold or just finely polished.

Michael Schmidt meets Pulpo for a drink

The impulse for the MADISON bar wagon was given to Michael Schmidt by the TV series MAD MEN in which people smoke and drink with pleasure. And because the stylish enjoyment of Whiskey, Gin and Co. has regained great popularity in recent years, Schmidt and his team have taken this topic again. The result for the brand PULPO is an expressive piece of furniture with a sophisticated combination of brushed solid wood, polished stainless steel and tinted glass.

Avveni as floor light

The Avveni lighting system for Sattler is expanded by a concrete base. This version is the smallest floor and table light in the modular lighting system. Avveni is a new modular lighting system that illuminates as a single spot or as a room-expanding, expandable structure.
