iF Award 2014 for MeetYou

MeetYou from Haworth gets the iF AWARD 2014. The self-supporting partitions and coherent, flowing landscapes with excellent acoustics, maximum unbroken wall surface are now in series and were shown at Orgatec in new applications.

Innovation Design Award for bbqube

The bbqube Outdoor Kitchen is one of seven winners of the 2014 Interior Innovation Award in the outdoor category due to be presented at the IMM in January. This prestigious international design prize is awarded by imm cologne and the German Design Council. The innovative lightweight construction of the natural stone kitchen block and the use of heat-treated solid wood make bbqube an absolute lightweight (total weight approx. 95 kg).

Innovation Design Award 2014

TEAM.WORK.SPACE has only just come into production but has already won the 2014 Innovation Design Award, the international design prize awarded by imm cologne and the German Design Council. The award will be presented in January 2014.

The office furniture concept embraces all forms of open plan working: concentrated, creative and communicative work, whether alone, in pairs or in a team, with fixed or temporary work spaces.

Sonic – the noise reducing light

Together with XAL, SONIC designer Michael Schmidt has combined acoustics, lighting and aesthetics in a unique product, thus setting a milestone in the design and noise reduction of large spaces.

bbqube Outdoor Kitchen

The bbqube´s archaic-looking design reminds of the original shape of a kitchen: a block of 180 x 70 x 27 cm rests on two three-legged solid wood stands. The Indivualisation is capitalized: e.g. in the grill or hobs can be chosen between the combination charcoal / gas or a large gas grill.

Design award for Kite

Kite, a salon chair designed for Olymp was awarded among 300 products with the Baden Württemberg International Design Award “Focus Open 2013” in Silver.

kitchen design for Hasenkopf Headquarter

Michael Schmidt has created a show kitchen composed of vertically-stacked and rotated cubes for the industrial manufacturer Hasenkopf. The combination of materials selected for the project, glossy black parapan and silky white corian, combined with elements of oak and decorative concrete, have been adopted as a key theme running throughout the entire building by the interior design architects Keggenhoff + Partner.
