With FSB AFL®, Franz Schneider Brakel introduces a product solution that seamlessly unites design clarity with technical precision. Developed by Markus Michalski, Head of Design at FSB, in collaboration with Michael Schmidt of code2design, the system offers maximum architectural flexibility – whether installed flush or subtly surface-mounted.
The series includes a standard version as well as the new lockable variant, which is designed according to universal design principles. The locking mechanism is operated intuitively through a natural thumb rotation and integrates flush with the rosette – without visual interruptions or additional elements. This ergonomic, low-barrier solution combines security with a pure and consistent aesthetic.
FSB AFL® sets new standards for doors in both high-end residential and demanding architectural environments. A system that unites safety, comfort and visual coherence – strengthening architecture through attention to detail.
